KFA Delegation to the DPR of Korea -April 2020-


Anniversary of the Great Leader KIM IL SUNG and inauguration of Wonsan-Kalma 




From 11th to 18th April 2020 (8 days / 7 nights)


The Korean Friendship Association (KFA) organizes a trip to the DPR of Korea (North Korea) from 11th April to 18th April 2020 on the special occasion of the Anniversary of the Great Leader KIM IL SUNG and inauguration of the Wonsan-Kalma touristic complex in the East Sea of Korea.

The KFA gives the chance to know about the country, its people, society and culture in a respectful environment and small group. With meetings with high officials and the possibility of discussion about projects, cultural exchange and business opportunities (Garment, mining, tourism, IT, scientific research, heavy industry, etc.)

The KFA is the gateway to the DPRK. The biggest international network of friendship with the country assisting hundreds of individuals/companies, building bridges for collaboration, culture, sport, science and business since the year 2000.

All passports are invited to apply except for: USA, Republic of Korea (South Korea) and Japan due to special protocol in bilateral relations.


We will attend the festivities and state celebrations for 15th April, the inauguration of the newly built complex of Wonsan-Kalma in the East Sea of Korea,  visit the main monuments in Pyongyang, the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, Panmunjon (Border with South Korea), factory, cooperative farm, supermarket, school, hospital, having the chance to interact and ask to local citizens to learn about their daily lives.

Participants in the delegation will be accepted according to their order of arrival (pre-registration) and after clearing all details and conditions.


The KFA doesn’t take responsibility for any personal, material damage or other problem related to this trip, but just offers this service as a consultant organization between the DPRK authorities and the ‘participant’.

If the ‘participant’ wants any coverage or insurance, he’ll be fully responsible for its contract and implementation.

In some occasions we will have official meetings, business meetings or visits that will require formal dressing.


Regular price:  2900 EURO

(Same price per person, either individual or double room based)

KFA cardholders (membership card older more than 1 year): 2600 EURO

Price Includes:

- Flight Beijing-Pyongyang-Beijing.

- All transports inside DPRK

- 7 nights in 4**** Hotel.

- Breakfast, lunch, dinner and water/beer during meals.

- Entrance to all museums, monuments and anniversary displays.

- Guides in English/Spanish/German/French/Russian depending on the final group composition.

- Participation in all activities.

Basically everything while in the DPRK apart of your personal souvenirs or extra drinks.

Inside the DPRK we'll have doctors and hospitals at your disposal 24 hours if you've any problem.

Other additional expenses you'll need to cover:

Approx. 80 euro for the DPRK Visa in the chosen DPRK Embassy

The remaining amount of the trip will be paid in Pyongyang on 11 APRIL.

(Only accepted cash and EURO currency).

To be arranged and paid by the participant himself:

1- Flight from your country to Beijing

2- Chinese Visa (In case you may need a double entry Visa).

3- Your accommodation in China and transportation to the Beijing airport

2. Wait for confirmation.

3. BEFOR MARCH 1ST  2020

Send the required booking fee as specified in our e-mail.

This amount will be discounted from the total price.

At this point your air ticket and hotel room will be reserved and the DPRK visa processed. We will send the electronic Air Koryo ticket to your e-mail and give you the instructions to pick up your DPRK visa in the nearest Embassy.

If you decide to cancel the trip, the booking fees won't be returned since they'll be used to cover all the cancellations and administrative expenses.

If for any reason your DPRK visa is denied or a major problem force us to cancel the trip, the booking fees will be returned in full.

4. We'll send an acknowledgment of the receipt of your money. Then, you can proceed to book by yourself the flight tickets from your country to Beijing.

Depending on your nationality and staying time in China, you may have to approach your nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate and request a DOUBLE-ENTRY Visa for the dates that you’ll be travelling. Many passports DO NOT NEED CHINESE VISA and can apply for transit visa-free in Chinese airports by showing your DPRK visa and the Air Koryo electronic ticket that we'll provide.

List of Qualified Countries for VISA FREE in China: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, United Kingdom, Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia (FYROM), Albania, Belarus, Monaco, United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Brunei, United Arab Emirates, Qatar.


Notes :

Any participant that won't follow the regulations of the DPRK will be treated accordingly to its national law.

Any participant that won’t follow the KFA advices and indications will be expelled from the delegation without possibility of refund.

Credit Cards (Visa, AMEX, Master Card) are widely accepted in China for shopping, but cannot be used in the DPRK.

Chinese ATM only dispenses YUAN RENMIMBI Currency. It’s not possible to withdraw EURO.



People that didn't pre-register aren't eligible to participate.

1st MARCH 2020 also ends the FULL REGISTRATION process. People that haven't provided all the data/requirements or the booking fee won't be able to participate.
