Some days ago, the National committee for the independence, democracy, peace and reunification issued a statement “stop ‘Sea Dragon’ military game inviting war in northeast Asia”.
The US is making desperate attempts to maintain supremacy in India-Pacific. The military drill would add fuel to the tension on the Korean peninsula and the northeast Asia, the committee noted in the statement.
The Korean nation which is the victim of the Japanese colonial domination and mankind of the world desirous of the peace against war never allow the US-Japan-south Korea tripartite alliance as it accelerates the rebirth of the Japanese militarism, it asserted.
The statement urged the south Korean authorities to stop the US-led multi-national combined military drill and the strengthening of the US-Japan-south Korea tripartite alliance.
