Kim Yong Nam Meets President of National Constituent Assembly of Venezuela

Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK who is leading the DPRK delegation on an official visit to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, met President Diosdado Cabello of the National Constituent Assembly of Venezuela on November 27.
Present there were members of the DPRK delegation including Pak Thae Song, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and Ri Sung Gil, the DPRK ambassador to Venezuela, Tania Dias, first vice-president of the National Constituent Assembly of Venezuela, Gladys Requena, its second vice-president, and officials concerned.
A talk proceeded in a friendly atmosphere.

President Diosdado Cabello hosted a luncheon in honour of the DPRK delegation.
That day the DPRK delegation placed a wreath before the National Martyrs Cemetery of Venezuela and visited the La Montana Barracks where the remains of Hugo Chavez Frias, former president of Venezuela, are buried, to pay respects.
Meanwhile, a memorandum of understanding and an agreement between the foreign ministries of the DPRK and Venezuela were signed.
