Some days ago, the organizations for peace against war and the residents at Soseong-ri in Seongju County carried out the 12th pan-national action for peace on the lapse of five years of deployment of THAAD in south Korea.
In denunciation of deployment of THAAD
Introduction of THAAD and construction of its base are on the way under the protection of the police and president-elect Yoon Suk-yeol claims on normal operation of THAAD base and its additional deployment, they noted.
The participants renewed their determination to launch an unrelenting campaign for withdrawal of THAAD, shouting slogans “For peace against THAAD”, “Stop construction of the base”, “Withdraw THAAD” and “Opposition to south Korea-US-Japan alliance”.
