Agricultural workers in several rural areas of North Phyongan, South Phyongan, North Hwanghae, South Hwanghae, Jagang, North Hamgyong and South Hamgyong provinces, and Nampho City moved into new houses.
Ceremonies of moving into new houses took place on the spot.
Present there were officials of Party and government organs in relevant provinces, cities and counties, builders, officials of the units which contributed to construction and agricultural workers who were to move into the new houses.
Congratulatory speeches were made, and house licenses were conveyed amid thunderous applause of the participants. They were followed by oath-taking speeches.
The speakers expressed their determination to wage such mass movements as the movement to acquire new farmland and the movement for increasing crop yields so as to further increase grains, vegetables and livestock products and thus make a substantial contribution to the improvement of the people’s standard of living.
Officials congratulated the owners of the new houses, sharing pleasure with them.
