Kim Jong Un Sees Off Train Carrying Chinese Bodies, Wounded

Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) — The respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un went to Pyongyang Railway Station on Wednesday night to see off a special train for the purpose of carrying the bodies of Chinese who died in a tragic traffic accident and the wounded.
After hearing Chinese comrades’ suggestion that the bodies and the wounded would be sent to the Chinese proper as soon as possible, the Supreme Leader saw to it that the formation of a train was made and took measures to ensure that the bodies and the wounded were sent in a responsible manner, accompanied by leading officials of the Party and Government, technical officials and medical workers.
He went to Pyongyang Railway Station on Wednesday night and learned about preparations for carrying the bodies and got on the train to meet again the wounded and offer them words of consolation.
At the railway station he met Li Jinjun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and once again expressed deep condolences and apology to the bereave families of the victims over the unexpected, tragic disaster the close Chinese friends suffered in our land.
He said that he and the Party and Government are poignantly feeling the responsibility for the accident. Though he knows well neither word nor consolation nor compensation can allay the pain of the people who lost their beloved family members, he wanted to console the Chinese comrades even a bit with all efforts we can do, he said, and conveyed a consolatory message and money.
And he said that he would strictly investigate and handle the serious accident and take strong measures to thoroughly prevent the recurrence of such accident.
He saw off the train in a bitter grief, together with Premier of the Cabinet Pak Pong Ju and other senior officials of the Party and Government.
