Kim Yong Nam Meets Raul Castro Ruz

Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK, met and had a talk with Raul Castro Ruz, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, in a friendly atmosphere at the office building of the Communist Party of Cuba on December 4 during a brief stopover in Cuba on his return trip after attending the presidential inaugural ceremony held in the United Mexican States.
He courteously conveyed the greetings and a gift from Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un to Raul Castro Ruz.
Raul Castro Ruz expressed deep thanks for them and asked Kim to convey his sincere greetings to Kim Jong Un.
Kim Yong Nam referred to the DPRK visit by Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez, president of the Council of State and president of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Cuba, expressing his belief that the bilateral friendly relations would steadily develop.
Raul Castro Ruz wished Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un great success in his noble work of leading the Korean people in their struggle to implement a new strategic line.
Present there were Pak Thae Song, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and Ma Chol Su, DPRK ambassador to Cuba, and Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, foreign minister of the Republic of Cuba.
